I am a musician, composer & sound artist producing performances, site-specific installations, broadcasts and scores that move between off-site public and heritage spaces, contemporary arts and experimental music venues and broadcasts.
My collaborative work draws on diverse musical forms, material and techniques, combining them in a way that reveals the labour of musical production and listening and produces new forms of (sonic) narrative. These approaches are often used on site-responsive projects and incorporate tangled uses of technology as means to ask questions about music, sound, their cultural baggage and value.
I also perform as Bredbeddle, host a bi-monthly radio show on CAMPfm, am a member of Primary Music group, and a studio holder at Primary, Nottingham.
David Bell in an article for the British Music Collection, describes my approach as reaching “well beyond the expected confines of contemporary composition to produce works with a strangely unsettling beauty…. Her work has a powerful and singular voice”

An experienced educator and sound practitioner, I’ve been leading youth and community projects in tandem with my own work for the past 15 years. This social engaged aspect of my work continues to inform and influence my own practice. I run a community talk series at Primary called Tell Me Something I Don’t Know and co-lead the youth arts collective Youth Landscapers.
